A client’s Lifestyle is so important for me to know when starting a project. I need to know how their daily life functions and how it will influence my design. Design means nothing if the room is not functional. I sometime get inspired from walking though their home, but lots of times they have hired me to update their home so change is what they are looking for. Then it’s time to find inspiration.
This time I am the client! Our new home is in the planning stage. I know our lifestyle is casual and we want an open floor plan because we enjoy entertaining. So the living, dining & kitchen has to flow together. Our style is Modern Farmhouse, I need to incorporate a few of my furniture pieces in with new and I’m planning to adding the color “blue” in the design.
