I know there is still snow on the ground, but it’s the best time to start planning for the warmer weather. I am a very organized person and I like to create a “To Do List” of everything I want to get done in the house so I can enjoy the outdoors!
What you don’t know about me is that I just moved in November and we are doing a total renovation. So my list this year will be very different from past years but, let me try to help you.
I find the best way to start this list is to do it while walking though my home.
- Floor Covering: do your rugs look a little tired?
- Walls: is it time to refresh the paint or wallpaper?
- Upholstery: have your accent pillow seen better day?
- Look Up: when was the last time you dusted your ceiling fan?
- Kitchen: is it looking a little drab, what vibrant color can you add?
- Bedrooms: look for ways to transition your bedding or is time for new
If you make this list now you can refresh & gradually purchase these items so when the spring arrives you are ready!
